What are the museum's visiting hours?

We welcome you from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (ticket office closes at 3:30 p.m.), and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (ticket office closes at 5:15 p.m.).

What is the price of admission?
  • Kids 5 and under get in for free.
  • Children between the ages of 6 and 17 years old, $2.50.
  • Retirees, $2.50.
  • People with Disabilities, $2.50.
  • Adults, $5.00.
How do I get to the Museo de la Libertad (Liberty Museum)?

We are at the entrance to Amador, before getting to the Latin-American Parliament (Parlatino) building, on the left if you're coming from Balboa, and on the right if you're coming from the Cinta Costera or the Bridge of the Americas (Puente de las Américas).

If you're taking the Metro Bus it's the C850 Amador route.

Do you have parking?

Yes

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Clave, Yappy, ACH

What activities do you have for kids?

Every weekend we have a storyteller and other activities which are included in the price of admission.

Do you need a reservation?

You don't need a reservation to explore the museum on your own during the hours when the museum is open to the public.

You do need a reservation for guided tours, school visits, or for special events.

How far in advance should I make the reservation?

Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

How long does a guided tour take?

Guided tours take aproximately an hour and a half, but we adjust to the needs of our visitors.

The duration of the visits for the education program depend on the grade level of the students who will be participating.
